Random Hadith Filler

I haven't had time to find a real interesting topic to talk about, so here's a couple of hadiths to tide you over. Hopefully I'll get my work under control and will be able to post a proper article soon. :)

Allah SWT's Messenger (SAW) said: "Do you know the thing which most commonly brings people into Paradise? It is fear of Allah and good character. Do you know what most commonly brings people into Hell? It is the two hollow thins: the mouth and the private parts." (Tirmidhi)

Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said: "Whoever wants to know what Allah has prepared for him, should look to what he has prepared for Allah." (Abu Nu'aym, al-Hilyah. Silsilah as-Saheehah (sound chain) #2310)

Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said: "All of a human being's words count against him and not for him, except commanding the right, forbidding the wrong, and the mention of Allah Most High." (Tirmidhi)

Prophet Muhammad (SAW) Said: "O people, your wives have certain rights over you and you have certain rights over them. Treat them well and be kind to them, for they are your partners and committed helpers." (Tirmidhi)

Prophet Muhammad (SAW) Said: "he who does not show mercy to people, Allah also does not show mercy to him." (Bukhari)

Prophet Muhammad (SAW) Said: "A gate of paradise will open to one of those who mock people and a cry will be heard, "Come ehre, come here," and he will come forward in concern and anxiety, but when he reaches it, it will close in front of him. And this will happen again and again, until the gate will open and the cry "Come here, come here" will be heard as before, but he will not approach because he knows it will only close in front of him." (Ibn Abi Dunya)

Prophet Muhammad (SAW) Said: "The thing which has obscenity will be spoilt by it and the thing which has modesty will be beautified by it." (Tirmidhi)

Prophet Muhammad (SAW) Said: "If you take care of the commands of Allah, Allah will take care of you (and you will find Allah with you)." (hadith of Ibn Abbas)

Prophet Muhammad (SAW) Said (regarding fasting the day of Arafa): "It expiates the sins of the previous year and of the coming year" (Muslim) (*****Arafah is supposed to be this coming monday!! November the 15th!! Ya'll get yer fast on!! :D )
